Veteran Counseling & Support
FCRC of Ohio offers counseling and behavioral health support for veterans and their families. We recognize that military experience, transition to civilian life, relationships, and recovery can shape each person’s needs and goals.
Support That Respects Your Experience
Counseling may explore stress, mood and anxiety concerns, trauma-related experiences, grief, substance use, relationship strain, and changes in identity or purpose. Some veterans also wish to discuss moral injury, guilt, shame, or self-forgiveness. Care begins with listening to your priorities and understanding what support feels useful to you.
Veterans & Families
Individual counseling can focus on coping skills, emotional regulation, relationships, and daily functioning. Family counseling may support communication, adjustment, and shared understanding. Participation and goals are discussed with those involved in care.
Recovery & Connection
We work with each person to identify strengths, recovery supports, practical goals, and additional resources or referrals when appropriate. With authorization, coordination with other providers may support continuity of care.
