FCRC of Ohio provides parenting evaluation and counseling services for individuals and families navigating parenting concerns or court-related referrals. The purpose, scope, and requirements of each requested service are reviewed before services begin.

Court & Parenting Services

Parenting Evaluations

A parenting evaluation addresses defined referral questions through an impartial review of relevant information. The process may include interviews, record review, observations, and appropriate assessment measures, depending on the referral and agreed scope. The evaluator explains participation requirements, information sharing, fees, and the intended use of findings before beginning.

Counseling & Parenting Support

Counseling may focus on communication, emotional regulation, parenting skills, family relationships, and adjustment to change. Counseling and a court-related evaluation have different purposes. The appropriate role and any potential conflicts are clarified before accepting a referral.

Court & Professional Referrals

Contact the office to confirm whether the requested service is available and appropriate for the referral. Please provide only a general description of the service needed through the website. Court orders, deadlines, releases, records, and report requirements are reviewed through an appropriate intake process. Acceptance of a referral and any reporting timeline must be confirmed in advance.

Clear Expectations

Evaluation findings are based on the information available and do not guarantee a particular recommendation or court outcome. The scope of confidentiality, authorized recipients, and any required disclosures are explained for the specific service. FCRC of Ohio does not provide legal advice.
