Counseling Services
FCRC of Ohio provides individualized counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families. We offer a respectful space to explore concerns, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal and relationship goals.
Support for Everyday Challenges
Counseling may address anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma-related concerns, emotional regulation, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and substance use concerns. Goals and recommendations are developed together based on each person’s needs, strengths, and circumstances.
Individual & Family Counseling
Individual sessions focus on personal concerns and practical strategies for daily life. Family work may focus on communication, problem solving, boundaries, parenting, and healthier patterns of interaction. For children and adolescents, caregiver involvement is considered as appropriate to the treatment goals and consent arrangements.
Our Approach
Depending on individual needs, counseling may draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills, motivational interviewing, and family-focused approaches. We discuss the purpose of treatment, establish goals, and review progress together. No single approach is right for everyone.
