Jennifer Simmons LPCC, is the owner of Family Counseling & Rehabilitation Center of Ohio, she opened her agency in 2019 and has continued to grow and expand in the Mid-Ohio Valley area. Jennifer received her Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Grand Canyon University in 2019. She is currently working towards her PhD in Psychology from North Central University. Jennifer is an independently licensed professional clinical counselor as well as and LICDC (Licensed Independent Clinical Drug Counselor), she is certified in SMART recovery for drug and alcohol treatment (Self-Management and Recovery Training), and SAP-Q (Substance Abuse Professional- Qualified) through the Department of Transportation. Jennifer is also a member of the American Counseling Association and American Psychological Association.
Jennifer is married to the love of her life Jeff for 25 years and they have 4 children together, whom are all adults now. Jennifer is from West Virginia where she and her family still reside. In Jennifer’s spare time she enjoys knitting, cooking, traveling with her husband and reading. Jennifer’s favorite series is “People of The” by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O’Neal Gear.
Jennifer is passionate about helping individuals and families in all aspects of life, she enjoys learning from her clients and helping them to grow and learn about themselves. Jennifer fell into counseling and loved the feeling of helping others. She wanted to eventually be able to have her own agency where individuals would be able to come and feel valued and heard. She hopes that every individual that comes through our doors get that feeling of care.
